The New York Stock Exchange today opened its doors to His Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Denmark, Frederik André Henrik Christian.
“We are honored to welcome His Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Denmark, joined by H.E. Bendt Bendtsen, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Economic and Business Affairs to the New York Stock Exchange,” said NYSE Euronext CEO John A. Thain. “This visit is an important step in extending our partnership with Denmark.”
His Royal Highness, The Crown Prince of Denmark, visited the NYSE as part of his U.S. visit to promote Denmark's Creative Nation initiative, promoting the competencies, dynamism and strong tradition of innovation of Danish enterprises and is inspired by the opportunities in working across countries, sectors, and professions.
The NYSE is home to 424 non-U.S. companies representing 45 countries. These global and regional leaders have a combined total global market capitalization of over $10 trillion.
