NYSE To Host Second Annual Floor Broker Charity Trading Day - Proceeds To Benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Date 06/10/2010

The New York Stock Exchange, a unit of NYSE Euronext (NYX), today announced that it will hold its Second Annual Floor Broker Charity Trading Day on Friday, Oct. 15, 2010.  On that day all net transaction fees on orders executed by floor brokers in NYSE and NYSE Amex securities will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, one of the world’s premier pediatric cancer research centers.

“The NYSE community is extremely proud to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for the second year in row,” said Joseph Mecane, executive vice president of NYSE Euronext.   “We see this as an opportunity to bring together customers, brokers, and the NYSE in supporting St. Jude’s pioneering work in finding cures for children with cancer.”

The Floor Broker Charity Trading Day complements many other charitable and volunteer efforts of NYSE Euronext markets worldwide.  The floor community at the NYSE, in particular, has a strong and longstanding commitment to charitable causes, hosting fund-raising events throughout the year.
