NYSE Member Firms Report Second-Quarter 2009 Results

New York Stock Exchange member firms that conduct business with the public reported a second-quarter 2009 after-tax profit of $18.2 billion and revenues of $62.6billion, compared with a $1.1 billion after-tax profit on revenues of $61.0 billion in the second quarter of 2008. Comparative financial results are reported in the table below:
