New York Stock Exchange member firms that conduct business with the public reported a fourth-quarter 2008 after-tax loss of $7.25 billion and revenues of $23.52 billion, compared with $10.64 billion in after-tax losses on revenues of $88.18 billion in the fourth quarter of 2007.
