NYSE Group, Inc. Welcomes Tel Aviv Stock Exchange CEO, Ester Levanon And Delegation To Visit The New York Stock Exchange

Today, The New York Stock Exchange hosted the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange officials led by CEO Ester Levanon.

“We are honored to welcome the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange delegation, led by CEO Ester Levanon, to the New York Stock Exchange,” said NYSE Group President & co-COO Cathy R. Kinney. “We look forward to a continued and increased mutually beneficial partnership with Israel and its corporate leaders.”

Today, Ms. Kinney also participated in The “Israel Innova Tech” conference, sponsored by the NYSE Group, Inc., highlighting the latest trends in Israel’s fast-growing high-technology industry. The event coincides with NYSE Group’s successful launch this year of NYSE ArcaSM, a new platform offering an NYSE Group listing for the first time to smaller, emerging companies that do not yet meet NYSE standards.

Emerging growth companies have the opportunity to list on NYSE Group for the first time on NYSE Arca. This gives issuers – both domestic as well as non-US companies -- an alternative listing venue that previously did not qualify for the NYSE.
