NYSE Euronext today announced the admission of Acropolis Telecom to NYSE Alternext.
Founded in 2001, Acropolis Telecom serves a clientele principally made up of SMEs and local authorities with IP (Internet Protocol) connection and communication solutions that combine attractive costs and the best in technology. Specializing in digital convergence for voice, video and data, the company has won a place among the leading telecom operators in France.
Acropolis Telecom (ticker symbol: ALACR) was admitted through the transfer of the 3,990,113 existing shares making up its capital from the Free Market to NYSE Alternext.
Market capitalization of Acropolis Telecom on the date of admission amounted to €13 million.

Samir Koleilat, Chairman of Acropolis Telecom, adds: "Our move to NYSE Alternext opens the way for quicker expansion combining continued momentum from organic growth with new impetus from acquisitions targeting businesses whose fields of operation or geographical range complement our own. That will require several tens of millions of euros over the next three years, which we hope we will be able to raise on NYSE Alternext."
NYSE Alternext today counts 147 listed companies from countries including Belgium, Canada, China, France, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, the UK and the US. Together they have raised over €2.3 billion, half of this through secondary issues, and their market capitalization totals €4.9 billion.
