NYSE Euronext (NYSE Euronext: NYX) today announced that on Dec. 31, 2007, it completed the previously announced transfer of all ETFs and ETNs from the NYSE to NYSE Arca, NYSE Euronext’s fully electronic U.S. listing and trading platform. In 2007, NYSE Arca added 121 new ETFs and 17 new ETNs to its roster of primary listings, including a record 100 IPOs. Additionally, NYSE Arca established ten new issuer relationships with ETF and ETN sponsors that had notpreviously listed product on NYSE Arca. For the full-year 2007, NYSE Arca was the primary listing exchange of choice with a total of 240 ETFs and ETNs listed.

Van Eck’s environmentally focused Market Vectors – Global Alternative Energy ETF listing was another pioneering product offered to investors through NYSE Arca.
Tracking the performance of approximately 100 U.S.-listed securities, PowerShares introduced the first ETF based on technical analysis in the Dorsey Wright Technical Leaders™ Index, the PowerShares DWA Technical Leaders™ Portfolio. In the last quarter of the year, WisdomTree listed its 33rd product on NYSE Arca, the WisdomTree Emerging Markets SmallCap Dividend Fund, and Vanguard, one of the largest investment management companies in the U.S., listed their first funds on NYSE Arca with the launch of three new unique Mega Cap 300 ETFs. Also in 2007, the NYSE Arca Tech 100 ETF, a widely recognized benchmark for the technology sector, became the first ETF to IPO on NYSE Arca when it listed on Mar. 28.
