Nymex To Increase Margins On Central Appalachian Coal Futures Contracts

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., will increase the margins on its coal futures contract at the close of business today.

The Exchange will increase the margins on all months to $2,750 from $1,750 for clearing members, to $3,025 from $1,925 for members, and to $3,713 from $2,363 for customers.
