The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. today announced margin changes for its silver futures contracts, effective at the close of business tomorrow.
Margins for the silver futures contract will increase to $5,750 from $5,000 for clearing and non-clearing members and to $7,763 from $6,750 for customers.
Margins for COMEX miNYTM silver futures contract will increase to $2,875 from $2,500 for clearing and non-clearing members and to $3,881 from $3,375 for customers.
