The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. announced today that it will change margins for its palladium and Asian palladium futures contracts, effective at the close of business tomorrow.
Palladium futures margins will increase to $3,000 from $2,250 for clearing members, to $3,300 from $2,475 for members, and to $4,050 from $3,038 for customers.
Margins for the Asian palladium futures contract will increase to $482 from $362 for clearing members, to $530 from $398 for members, and to $651 from $489 for customers.
