The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. announced today that it will change margins for its palladium and Asian palladium futures contracts, effective at the close of business tomorrow.
Palladium futures margins will increase to $4,000 from $3,000 for clearing members, to $4,400 from $3,300 for members, and to $5,400 from $4,050 for customers.
Margins for the Asian palladium futures contract will increase to $643 from $482 for clearing members, to $707 from $530 for members, and to $868 from $651 for customers.
