The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. today announced margin changes for the DME futures and spread futures contacts, effective at the close of business tomorrow.
Margins for the Oman crude oil futures contract will increase to $5,700 from $5,000 for clearing member, to $6,270 from $5,500 for members, and to $7,695 from $6,750 for customers.
Margins for the Brent-Oman and WTI-Oman financial spread futures contracts will increase to $2,600 from $2,250 for clearing members, to $2,860 from $2,475 for members, and to $3,510 from $3,038 for customers.
