NYMEX To Change Margins For Coal Futures Contract On NYMEX ClearPort®

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. today announced margin changes to its Central Appalachian coal futures contract on NYMEX ClearPort, beginning at the close of business on Monday, July 14.

The margins will increase to $17,000 from $15,000 for clearing members, to $18,700 from $16,500 for members, and to $22,950 from $20,250 for customers.
