Nymex Sets Options Daily Volume Record

Daily volume records were set on the New York Mercantile Exchange on September 7 for NYMEX Division options and heating oil options.

Nymex Division options trading activity reached 120,338 contracts, topping the 111,663 contracts traded on March 1, 2000. The heating oil options record of 49,589 contracts surpassed an October 30, 1992, daily volume record of 28,442 contracts.
