NYMEX Energy Complex, Crude Oil Futures Contracts Set Daily Volume Records On CME Globex

New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. announced today that total NYMEX energy futures and crude oil futures contracts traded on CME Globex set daily volume records on September 8.

Energy futures contracts totaled 235,758, exceeding the 208,928 contracts traded on September 7. Crude oil futures crossed the 100,000 contract milestone, when 100,293 contracts were traded on Friday.
