New York, N.Y., July 20, 2006 -- The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc. today announced the position accountability and expiration position limits for the new NYMEX miNY platinum and palladium futures contracts that will be offered on the CME Globex® electronic trading platform on August 6 for trade date August 7.
For the NYMEX miNY platinum futures contract, the position accountability levels will be 1,500 contracts for any single month or all months. Expiration position limits will be 200 contracts with a 50-contract reporting level.
For the NYMEX miNY palladium futures contract, the position accountability levels will be 1,000 contracts for any single month or all months. Expiration position limits will be 650 contracts with a 25-contract reporting level.
