The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange has notified its members that following the labour dispute declared by the Histadrut, New General Federation of Labour, TASE activities might be disrupted as of 27th February 2008.
In the TASE letter to its members TASE refers to the possibility that the labour dispute might disrupt TASE ability to provide trading and clearing services to the public, TASE members, listed companies etc.
The TASE management stated that intensive negotiation is taking place in order to solve the dispute as soon as possible. TASE Management sincerely hopes that the employees' committee will take into consideration to prevent damages that a strike might cause to foreign investors and the Israeli public.
