Nigerian Stock Exchange Receives HR People Magazine 2016 Employer Of Choice Award

The Nigerian Stock Exchange (“NSE” or “The Exchange”) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded by the HR Peoples Magazine 2016 with the Employer of Choice Award in the Under 1,000 Employees category. 

According to the organisers of the event, eight (8) organisations were shortlisted for further screening out of  which  the  final  top  three  (3)  contenders  emerged  namely;  Seven  Energy  Nigeria  Limited,  Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc and The Nigerian Stock Exchange, the overall winner of the category.

The entries from the companies were rigorously appraised by local panel and foreign technical partners to the  award  that  includes  Frank  Pedersen,  CEO  of  Siemens  Security  Solution,  Julie  Gordon,  Managing Director of Chrysos HR Solutions Ltd, United Kingdom and Ron Thomas, Managing Director of Strategy Focused Group-MENA and a former Chief Executive Officer.

Commenting on the award, Pai Gamde, Head, Human Resources, NSE, on behalf of The Nigerian Stock Exchange stated, “We are greatly humbled and honoured to receive this award and we would like to offer our gratitude to “HR Peoples Magazine Employer of Choice Award 2016” for creating this platform to recognise excellent HR practices. Our acceptance of this award and honour would not be complete without recognising the entire workforce of the NSE whose support have made this milestone a reality.”
