News from ICEX-15 Companies´In English

ICEX requires companies selected for the ICEX-15 Index to publish all news announcements in English. This condition is considered met if 90% of a company?s news announcements are in English. Failure to meet the above mentioned requirement in an index period (either January-June or July-December) and the following five months makes a company ineligible for continued inclusion in the ICEX-15. Four companies failed to meet this requirement between July and December 2004. They are the following: Fjarfestingarfelagid Atorka hf., Straumur Fjarfestingarbanki hf., Og fjarskipti hf. and Samherji hf.
