New Zealand's Financial Markets Authority: We Are Now Consulting On Standards And Conditions For New Licenses

The Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013 (the Act) introduces licensing for providers offering certain types of financial services. We are now consulting on the proposed minimum standards for these licence types:


-          Consultation: Licensing Discretionary Investment Management Service (DIMS) providers
-          Consultation: Licensing peer-to-peer lending services
-          Consultation: Licensing crowd funding
-          Consultation: Licensing independent trustees
-          Consultation: Licensing derivatives issuers
-          Consultation: Managed Investment Schemes (MIS) managers

We invite you to review these consultation papers and share your feedback with us. This is our chance to work together to shape the future of our financial markets. For full details please see the consultation section on our website.

The final date for submissions is 12 December 2013.
