NeoNet Securities AS – A Prospective Warsaw Stock Exchange Member

On 8 August 2007, the Swedish brokerage house NeoNet Securities AS with its seat in Stockholm was admitted by the WSE Management Board to operate on the WSE as an Exchange Member.

NeoNet Securities AB was founded in 1996. It is a pioneer of DMA (Direct Market Access) services for institutional investors. Currently the broker gives access to 23 markets. NeoNet only provides brokerage services on behalf of clients. It also offers technical solutions for electronic trading.

NeoNet Securities AB is a member of: OMX Stockholm, OMX Helsinki, Oslo Stock Exchange, Copenhagen Stock Exchange, Frankfurt Stock Exchange (XETRA), London Stock Exchange, Euronext (Paris, Amsterdam, Lisbon, Brussels), Borsa Italiana, Virt-X, Swiss Exchange, Irish Stock Exchange, Vienna Stock Exchange.

NeoNet Securities AB is one of the most active brokers on the cash market of OMX Nordic Exchange.

As of today, the WSE has 16 Remote Members from Hungary, the Czech Republic, Austria, the UK, France, Germany, Sweden, and Estonia. Glitnir AB (then known as Fischer Partners Fondkommission AB) was the first Swedish Remote Member of the WSE as of April 2005. On 6 July 2007, the WSE Management Board admitted another Swedish broker, Nordnet Bank AB, to operation on the WSE as a Remote Exchange Member.

Foreign membership gives foreign brokers direct access to the WSE system without necessary physical presence in Poland and without the use of local intermediaries.
