American Stock Exchange® (Amex®) announced today that Neal Wolkoff, Amex’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, will deliver the keynote address at the Third Annual Investor Growth Conference on November 8 hosted by Sanders Morris Harris at the New York Palace Hotel in New York City.
Mr. Wolkoff will speak at the two-day conference on the topics of expanding alternative funding vehicles and new initiatives taking place at Amex. In attendance will be more than 400 institutional investors and representatives from more than 70 leading United States and United Kingdom small- and mid-cap companies, covering a diverse group of industries including energy, healthcare, environmental, business services, consumer, financial services, and converging media and technology.
Mr. Wolkoff was appointed Chairman and CEO of the Amex in April 2005. Previously, he served as Chief Operating Officer of the New York Mercantile Exchange. He has been a frequent public speaker on market issues and risk management and has written editorials on Sarbanes Oxley that have been published in The Wall Street Journal and Financial Times.
