The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) has openedits fourth annual Derivatives Week event, to be held in Stockholm from June10-12. One of the largest gatherings of derivatives professionals in Europe,Derivatives Week brings together more than 550 Nordic derivatives members andinvestors from 15 countries to listen to world-leading expert speakers in thefield of derivatives. This year's keynote speaker is Dr. William F. Sharpe,awarded the Nobel Prize for his contributions to the Capital Asset PricingModel (CAPM).
In addition to Dr. Sharp, speakers include Dr. Emanuel Derman, author of thebest-selling book “My Life as a Quant,” Dr. Espen Gaarder Haug, renownedderivatives theory expert, and Chicago-based veteran derivatives trader Ms.Denise Hubbard.
