The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ) today announced that Lauri Rosendahl has been appointed President of NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd. as of May 1, 2009. Mr. Rosendahl will also serve as Vice President, responsible for Products within the Nordic equities and derivatives markets in NASDAQ OMX's Transactions Services Nordic business. As President of NASDAQ OMX Helsinki, Rosendahl will also support the NASDAQ OMX listing and capital market business in Finland.

Mr. Rosendahl has a long experience in the financial markets, having held several management positions within securities trading and equity research with investments banks including Carnegie, ABM Amro and Deutsche Bank. His latest position was CEO and Country Manager for Kaupthing Finnish Branch.
In his new position Mr. Rosendahl will report to Bjørn Sibbern, Senior Vice President Equities Markets within NASDAQ OMX Transactions Services Nordic. Henrik Husman, currently the acting head of NASDAQ OMX Helsinki, will continue to serve NASDAQ OMX as Head of Products Equities.
