NASDAQ OMX Announces First Quarter 2009 New Listings Statistics - NASDAQ Captured Sixteen New Listings, Including 4 Switches From NYSE Group, Inc.

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) today announced that The NASDAQ Stock Market(r) (NASDAQ(r)) captured a total of sixteen new listings, highlighted by the switch from the New York Stock Exchange of DreamWorks Animation SKG, Inc. (Nasdaq:DWA), the leading developer and producer of computer-generated animated feature films.

Other notable listings included specialty pharmaceutical company Impax Laboratories Inc. (Nasdaq:IPXL) and SmartHeat (Nasdaq:HEAT), a Chinese manufacturer of plate heat exchangers.
