NASDAQ Corporate Client Group Appoints Vice President Of Products And Strategy

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. ("NASDAQ ® "; OTCBB: NDAQ) today announced the appointment of Marcia A. Barris as Vice President of Products and Strategy for the Corporate Client Group. Ms. Barris, who is based in New York, reports to Bruce E. Aust, Executive Vice President, Corporate Client Group.

In her new role, Ms. Barris will be responsible for developing value added products and services for NASDAQ-listed companies, including investor relations services designed to increase their exposure to the investment community.

Before joining NASDAQ, Ms. Barris held senior management and business development positions with financial services business units of several market-leading technology companies. Most recently, Ms. Barris was Managing Director of Compaq Financial Services Latin America. While at Compaq, Ms. Barris developed and managed global business strategy within the financial services business unit. Ms. Barris held similar marketing and management positions with AT&T Capital Corporation and UNISYS Finance Corporation.

A graduate of the College of St. Catherine, Barris also received a Masters degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
