The Election Committee of the Stock Exchange Council has nominated Mr Harald Norvik as the new Chairman of the Stock Exchange Board.
Mr Norvik does not wish to comment on the Election Committee's recommendation until the Stock Exchange Council has appointed the new Chairman of the Stock Exchange Board at its next meeting on Wednesday 12 April 2000.
