Montréal Exchange Establishes Volume Record Of 1.5 Million Contracts Traded In One Day On Its Sola® Platforms - High Volatility In Markets Fuelled Derivatives Trading

The Montréal Exchange (MX) (TSX: MXX) established today a record as its combined trading on MX and BOX platforms, both operated by the MX team, totalled 1,450,099 contracts.

The previous record of 1,215,517 contracts was achieved on May 24, 2007.
