Misys, the global application software and services company, is pleased to announce that it has won the “Best Single Country Treasury Management Project” in The Asian Banker Technology Implementation Awards 2013. The award was won for the successful implementation of Kondor+ in 2012 at Maritime Bank in Vietnam.
Maritime Bank used Kondor+ to build a new and modern treasury system in line with international best practices, capable of supporting the bank’s entire treasury operation from front to back office, and supporting its new business growth which has a particular focus on treasury risk management.
Nguyen Huong Loan, CEO of Wholesale Banking, Maritime Bank, commented, “The treasury operations contribute a large share of Maritime Bank’s profits and has been one of our most lucrative business lines in the last five years. The implementation of Kondor+ enabled us to upgrade to a more dynamic, effective and safe treasury system, and we are now better positioned to support and control new products and connect to other trading systems within the bank.”
