Krull comes to MGEX with extensive background in agricultural marketing and communications experience. She has held key positions at two leading communications agencies, directing public relations teams for national clients. Most recently, she was a freelance marketing consultant working for companies in agriculture, technology and healthcare. Krull will manage all marketing communications activities at MGEX as well as play a key role in marketing office space in the Grain Exchange buildings.
Koenig brings a vast knowledge of information systems to his new position of Manager, Information Technology. Koenig was heavily involved with the design, implementation and improvement of the business continuity planning for three separate data centers at Wells Fargo and his past work as a consultant in the implementation of the electronic trading platform at MGEX will be invaluable as the Exchange expands its offerings on the electronic platform.
The MGEX has also promoted Erik Randall to Division Project Manager for Market Operations and Information Technology. Randall will be in charge of projects affecting trading floor and electronic operations. “Given Erik’s past involvement and superior performance in both floor and electronic trading operations, this should pay great dividends for the Market Operations and Information Technology Division as a whole,” said MGEX Director of Market Operations and Information Technology James D. Facente.
