The Brazilian Securities, Commodities and Futures Exchange – BM&FBOVESPA set two historic trading records yesterday with the Mini Ibovespa futures contracts: 77,650 contracts traded in 24,179 trades. The previous record of contracts traded was set on 01/09/2007, with 76,699 contracts. Mini Ibovespa futures contracts’ prior historic mark of number of trades was reached on 03/03/09, with 23,791 trades.
