Paul Chrimes has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of MIG Capital (Europe) Ltd, the London based subsidiary of MIG Bank.
Chrimes will oversee the finance, operations, and compliance activities of the London based company as well as support the implementation of the organisation’s ambitious growth strategy for FX and CFDs in Europe.
Chrimes joins from E*TRADE Securities Ltd, the online brokerage company, where he held several senior positions before becoming CEO in 2010. As CEO, he successfully managed the restructuring of E*TRADE’s operations in Europe, Middle East, and Asia.
He also held various senior finance roles and was a key member of the International retail management team, providing significant input into the development of business plans to substantially grow the international retail online securities business in Europe, Middle East, Asia and Canada
Chrimes has 30 years professional finance experience, including having held senior roles at the investment banking operations of UBS and NatWest Bank. During his career, he has delivered strategies for business growth, managed operational risk, lead regulatory change, and undertaken project management. Chrimes is a qualified Chartered Accountant (FCA) and Corporate Treasurer (MCT).
