MGEX Reports Third Record Day Of The Week

MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), reports its third record day of the week following Thursday’s activity, as both total volume and electronic volume finished in the top 20 alltime.

Total volume finished 17th-best all-time, ending the day at 18,065 contracts traded, while electronic volume made its way to No. 14 on the record charts, coming in at 16,968. This is the first time since April the Exchange has reported three record days in the same week, marking an impressive surge in volume.  

The Exchange has now recorded a total volume of 115,919 during November, with 11 trade dates remaining in the month. Electronic volume for November currently stands at 105,591. Open interest following Thursday’s activity was 78,613.
