MGEX Reports Fifth Record Day Of The Month

MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), reports its 15th-best daily volume of all-time from Friday, finishing the day with 18,855 contracts traded.

Electronic volume came in at 14,975 on Friday, good enough for 25th-best on the electronic daily volume charts. This marks the fifth time this month that MGEX has recorded a top 25 day in either total or electronic volume. Each of the last seven days have seen total volume surpass 10,000.

Total volume for November now stands at 206,723 with five trade dates remaining, while electronic volume stands at 185,455. Both are all-time highs for the month of November. Open interest following Friday’s activity was 75,744.
