MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), reports a total volume of 133,836 from May, marking 17 consecutive months that the Exchange has recorded a total volume of more than 125,000.
This is the third time that Exchange volume has surpassed 130,000 during the month of May. Electronic volume from May finished the month at 117,752 contracts traded.
Total calendar year volume now stands at 874,521 as the year’s halfway point approaches. Open interest following Friday’s activity was 74,145.
