MGEX Board Appoints Public Directors, Officers, Committee Assignments

MGEX (Exchange), a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), announced its Board of Directors (Board) named 2010-2011 public directors and officers, and assigned committee representatives.

At the October 19 meeting, the MGEX Board of Directors appointed Curt Denisuik, William R. Power, Steve Fanady and Alan Swimmer as public directors who will each serve a one year term.

The Board elected officers and members for the executive committee. Michael L. Ricks was named Board chairperson. Other Board officer positions named were as follows: Gary S. Weber, first vice chairperson; Richard A. Dusek, second vice chairperson. Completing the five-member executive committee are Steve Fanady and William R. Power.

“As MGEX grows and diversifies our business, we will look to the leadership on our Board of Directors to guide the Exchange into the future,” Mark G.
