MexDer And Asigna Reduce Trading And Clearing Fees On The TIIE Futures Contract

In recognition of the rising volume traded recently, and in order to enhance the competitiveness of the Mexican Derivatives Market, MexDer and Asigna have decided to reduce trading and clearing fees of futures contracts on the 28-day TIIE (Interbank Interest Rate).

TIIE Futures Contract is the most representative and liquid contract listed in the Mexican Derivatives Exchange. It represents more than 90% of the volume traded in MexDer.

This modification takes effect on June 1 of this year. At MexDer, consists of expanding the discounts for monthly trading volume, offering a 20% additional discount on the lowest fee in effect previously. At Asigna, it incorporates a scheme of scaled discounts that offers greater benefits to traders who increase their trading volume over the course of the month, allowing them to obtain discounts of up to 30%.
