Marine Farms ASA to be listed on Oslo Børs
The Board of Oslo Børs resolved to admit shares in Marine Farms ASA to listing on the SMB List of Oslo Børs.
The Board authorised the President of Oslo Børs to fix the date of the first day of listing, which is to be no later than 10 November 2006.
About Marine Farms
Marine Farms ASA (MAFA) has been involved in the fish farming industry since 1976 and has considerable knowledge of all aspects of fish farming, from broodfish to the finished product. The company's core operations are salmon farming in the U.K. and farming of seabass / seabream in Spain. These activities are operated through the wholly owned subsidiaries Lakeland (U.K.) and Culmarex (Spain), both holding leading positions within their respective markets. Codfarmers ASA to be listed on Oslo Børs
The Board of Oslo Børs resolved to admit shares in Codfarmers ASA to listing on the SMB List of Oslo Børs.
The Board stipulated that prior to the first day of listing the company must satisfy the requirements for the number of holders of one round lot or more of the company's shares registered in VPS (100) as set out in Section 2.4.2 of the Stock Exchange Listing Rules, and the company must publish a prospectus approved by Oslo Børs.
The Board authorised the President of Oslo Børs to fix the date of the first day of listing, which is to be no later than 10 November 2006.
About Codfarmers
Codfarmers ASA is spearheading the development of cod as a new species in industrial fish farming. In January 2002, the company was established. Codfarmers has secured optimal production locations best possibly suited for cost effective production of farmed cod. The locations are situated in the region of Bodø at 67 degrees North in sheltered but the same artic waters as the world’s largest commercial cod fisheries takes place in Lofoten. The main office and the sales department are situated in Oslo. Today, the company has a total licensed production volume of more than 15.000 tons, making it one of the two largest in the industry. At full capacity, the three production clusters are believed to have a combined capacity of approximately 20.000 tons. The company is now harvesting on it’s fourth release of fish and has already demonstrated its ability to large scale farming of cod. Together with increasing volumes, the company is experiencing falling production costs. Codfarmers will harvest approximately 1.400 tons in 2006. At the moment, Codfarmers has 2,2 million fish in the sea. In 2008, Codfarmers plans a production of approximately 13.000 tons.
Northland Resources Inc. to be listed on Oslo Børs
The Board of Oslo Børs resolved to admit shares in the Canadian company Northland Resources Inc. to listing on the SMB List of Oslo Børs.
The Board stipulated that prior to the first day of listing the company must satisfy the requirements for the number of holders of one round lot or more of the company's shares registered in VPS (100) as set out in the Stock Exchange Listing Rules, and the company must raise at least NOK 175 million of new equity through its planned share issue. In addition, the company must enter into a standard listing agreement for secondary listing on Oslo Børs as required by Section 5 of the Stock Exchange Listing Rules, and must also publish a prospectus approved by Oslo Børs.
