Martin Abbott Joins The LME As Chief Executive

Martin Abbott has joined the London Metal Exchange (LME), as CEO, from 2 October 2006.

Commenting on his arrival, Donald Brydon, chairman of the Exchange said:

“I am delighted to welcome Martin to the LME and I look forward to working with him.

“Martin’s wide-ranging experience of the metals industry will be valuable as we chart the ever more competitive and dynamic exchange environment.”
