Manuel Pizarro today tendered his resignation as Deputy-Chairman of Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) and as member of the Nomination and Compensation Committee of BME, during the meeting held today by the company's Board.
Manuel Pizarro yesterday tendered his resignation as Deputy Chairman of the Sociedad Rectora de la Bolsa de Madrid to the Board of Directors of this company.
In both instances his resignation was accepted.
Manuel Pizarro has been linked to the stock exchange since 1987, when he started working as a stock broker. In 1991 he was appointed Chairman of the Sociedad Rectora de la Bolsa de Madrid and in 2002 he was appointed Deputy Chairman of BME.
