The listing of Bureau Veritas, the second largest on a Euronext market since January 2007, was a major success.
Bureau Veritas placed 28,556,305 shares to raise a total of €1.08 billion. The global placement reserved to institutions (before exercise of the extension option) was oversubscribed more than 10 times and the open-price offering for individual investors nearly 3 times.
On the basis of today’s first trade price of €38.30, the market capitalization of Bureau Veritas stands at €4.1 billion.

Bureau Veritas is the 113th company to be listed on Euronext this year. A total of over €7.2 billion has been raised through initial offerings on Euronext markets since January, representing an additional market capitalization of more than €205 billion.
Founded in 1828, Bureau Veritas is a world leader in inspection, testing and certification services in the fields of quality, safety, health, the environment and social responsibility. In this capacity, it inspects, analyses, audits and certifies products, assets (buildings, industrial infrastructure, equipment, ships, etc.) and management systems (in particular ISO standards) for compliance with compulsory or optional standards.
