Today the Ljubljana Stock Exchange is launching the Xetra® trading system and thus becoming integrated into the international capital market.
By introducing Xetra to the Slovene capital market the Ljubljana Stock Exchange is reaching one of its key strategic objectives: integration of the Slovene market into international capital markets. Xetra is bringing the Slovene market closer to international investors, which will increase liquidity and improve price formation.
By using Xetra in Slovenia, the Vienna Stock Exchange moved further in its endeavour to advance the harmonization of data dissemination in Central and Eastern Europe.

Data Vendors of the Vienna Stock Exchange have the possibility of subscribing to price information of eight CEE stock markets – Banja Luca, Budapest, Bucharest, Ljubljana, Prague, Sarajevo, Skopje and Vienna – and the three energy exchanges EXAA (Energy Exchange Austria), CEGH Gas Exchange of Wiener Börse and Power Exchange Europe (PXE).
