Volume of trading in January was 1,994,082,000 shares, a decrease of 40.4% over the previous month's volume. The value traded in January was KWD 1,172,975,730 a decrease of 28.9% over the previous month's value. There were 78,892 transactions in January, a decrease of 40% over the previous month's number of transactions.
166 companies were traded in January. Of the traded companies, 81 increased in price and 94 decreased in price.
