KRX Holds 2015 ISG Seoul Meeting

Korea Exchange (KRX) plans to hold a general meeting of ISG* from October 28 to 30 at Seoul Grand Hyatt Hotel. * ISG (Inter-market Surveillance Group): An international committee created in 1983 to cooperate in information sharing and the regulatory coordination for unfair trades between global markets. (53 members including FINRA∙NYSE of the U.S., IIROC of Canada and JPX-R of Japan as of October 2015) The regular general meeting of ISG is the biggest event related to self-regulation of the securities markets in the world and it is held* twice a year in the U.S. and other regions by turns. * Recent meetings: U.S. (New Orleans) in May 2014, Germany (Berlin) in Oct. 2014 and U.S. (New York) in May 2015 About 60 officers and experts from exchanges, market centers and market regulators that perform front-line surveillance in their respective jurisdictions are expected to attend the ISG Seoul Meeting.
