Konstantin Korishchenko Nominated As New President Of MICEX

MICEX, the largest integrated exchange in Russia and Central & Eastern Europe, confirms the Board’s nomination of Konstantin Korishchenko as its new President, pending shareholder approval. The appointment will be voted on at the Extraordinary General Meeting (“EGM”) scheduled for 24 October 2008. Korishchenko, who was previously Chairman of the Board at MICEX, replaces Alexander Potemkin who leaves the company with immediate effect to become an advisor to the Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
