Balfour will report to John Hilley, Chairman and Chief Executive of Nasdaq International "Charles has done tremendous work for Nasdaq International as we have built our presence, profile and influence beyond the US market. Charles Balfour is currently a Senior Vice President of The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc., and Managing Director of Nasdaq International, Ltd, assisting non-U.S. companies listing on The Nasdaq Stock Market and providing international investor relations services to Nasdaq's US Issuers. Before joining Nasdaq in 1993, Balfour was an Director of Banque Paribas, responsible for a broad range of corporate finance activities. Balfour started his career in the City at Hoare Govett the London brokers now ABN AMRO, followed by positions with Hill Samuel capital markets division and Dillon Read.
