KCBT Wheat Options Trade Record Volume For Month Of March

Kansas City Board of Trade wheat options traded record volume for the month of March, beating out the previous March record from 1999 by 5.8%.

Open interest gains in both KCBT wheat futures and wheat options contracts also were posted in March compared to last month and to the same month a year ago. Much of the month's wheat market activity was tied to weather conditions for the developing crop, traders said.
