KCBT To Migrate Electronic Trading To CME Globex® - Electronic Trading Will Migrate With Business Date Jan. 14 (Evening Session Opening On Jan. 13)

The Kansas City Board of Trade is preparing to migrate electronic trading to the CME Globex® trading platform beginning with business date January 14, 2008 (the evening session for which opens on Sunday evening, January 13).

Updated rules and regulations are located on the Kansas City Board of Trade’s website in Chapter Nine of the Rulebook at KCBT Rule Book Chapter 9. Also, updated information is available in the Electronic Trading portion of the website located at Electronic Trading.

With the migration to the new trading platform, electronic trading hours will be changing. Updated hours are available at Electronic Timeline. Hard red winter wheat futures and options will trade electronically from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. CT. Wheat futures will trade electronically and by open outcry from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. CT, while wheat options will trade only by open outcry during that timeframe. Value Line Stock Index Futures Contracts will trade electronically from 5:00 p.m. CT to 3:15 p.m. CT.
