Kansas City Board Of Trade: Side-By-side Trading For Wheat Options Begins Evening Of April 13 For Trade Date April 14

As previously announced, The Kansas City Board of Trade Board of Directors has approved the addition of side-by-side trading in the hard red winter wheat options contract. A second daily electronic trading session will be added to mirror the open outcry trading hours of 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monday through Friday. This new daytime electronic session is in addition to the current after-hours trading session from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Sunday through Friday.

Trading Hours:
Beginning April 14, 2008, KCBT hard red winter wheat options will be available for trading on CME Globex® with the ticker OKE from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. (Central Time). The open outcry market will remain unchanged and trade from 9:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Clearing Symbol:
The symbol for electronic KCBT wheat options at the KCBT Clearing Corporation is EC and EP for calls and puts, respectively.
