The Kansas City Board of Trade will be holding a minute of silence on Monday, September 11 in memory of the victims of the events that occurred on that date five years ago.
The minute of silence will occur at 9:29 a.m. CT, with the opening of both open outcry and electronic trading for the hard red winter wheat contract delayed until 9:31 a.m. CT.
The minute of silence is being held in a coordinated effort with other exchanges.
